“When we find something that accentuates someone’s style and personal preferences, it is a really special moment,” says Allie, “But there is an added layer of sentimentality when the piece is passed down from a prior generation and we can reimagine it to fit the style for the new owner.” And as a jeweler that has a unique collection of antique engagement rings and specializes in jewelry re-imagination, those moments come often. Allie herself was proposed to with an engagement ring that was she reimagined into a 1920’s art deco setting, using the diamond that her father gave to her mother years ago.

It’s not only engagements that can be sentimental. Allie recalls one of her favorite projects was a custom design piece. “After my client’s mother had passed, she had noticed that butterflies landed on her all the time,” Allie recalls. “We worked together and custom-designed a necklace with a diamond-studded solid gold butterfly so she could always keep the memory of her mother close.”
From concept to creation, Allie works closely with her clients, transforming their ideas into tangible masterpieces. For Allie, the art of jewelry and design has always been an intrinsic part of her being, her love for which was fostered by her parentage. Her parents recall her emerging from her bedroom dressed in as much costume jewelry as she could find when she was a young girl. This early passion, nurtured by her family, laid the foundation for a lifelong journey into the realm of design and style, where jewelry serves as a conduit for self-expression.
While formal training began ten years ago for Allie when she enrolled at the prestigious Gemological Institute of America, her immersion in the world of jewelry can truly be traced back to young days with her father, as he instilled in her a love for the craft. This has resulted in a unique blend of formal education and hands-on experience, solidifying her passion for jewelry design. Now, her ability to fuse timeless elegance with modern trends ensures that each piece aligns perfectly with her clients' vision. The result is always beautiful.
Allie isn’t where the buck stops for this family business. Her son, Nash, is five years old and is well on his way to becoming the 6th generation jeweler. “He was a great baby to have in the shop… wrapped around me napping while I helped our customers,” She recalls. “He is continuing his jewelry training with his “Papa” … learning to use the microscope, jeweler’s loupe and is excellent at sorting gemstones by shades of color. In a few years he will attend GIA’s GemKids camp.”
